The Biblical author of Hebrews wrote that Jesus "became the source of enduring salvation to those
who obey him." The apostle Paul agreed. Paul wrote that Jesus' sacrifice on the cross atones for everyone who adheres to Jesus' Faith (i.e. everyone who obeys what Jesus taught).
But evangelicals have rewritten Paul's words: The requirement of adhering to "Jesus' Faith" has been rewritten as "have faith in Jesus" and "the Faith" has been rewritten as "faith." Salvation by obedience to Jesus' Faith has been changed to salvation by "believing in Jesus" instead. These are not inherently the same thing.
The Golden Rule BibleTM restores Paul's requirement of obedience to Jesus' Faith. For more information: click here.
